The blood pressure indicators of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia) residents were analyzed from the perspective of the golden ratio. The structured spot of blood pressure (SSBP) and the ratio of DBP/SBP were used to assess the blood pressure indicators. It is now known that SSBP is approaching the value of the golden ratio (GP) - 0.618 (harmonious ratio). It has been established that SSBP opens up new possibilities in terms of predicting the stability of blood pressure during function tests in patients with arterial hypertension

Employees of river transport of Yakutia, as well as individuals included in the population sample for revealing metabolic syndrome (MS) features depending from medico-social factors, ethnicity and residence time were examined. It is revealed that the signs of disadaptation of the organism begin to manifest in people of non-indigenous nationality with an experience of living in Yakutia for more than 10 years. Younger age, as well as high values of arterial hypertension and the degree of dyslipidemia among river transport workers with MS compared to a population sample with MS indicate an acceleration of the mechanisms of metabolic disorders in Yakutia.

The article analyzes the respiratory function indicators in two ethnically different groups (Yakuts and Russians) of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia) of the same age and sex. It shows that in the Yakuts, compared to Russians, some reserve respiratory system indicators are reduced. The results of a study of respiratory function in smokers show a significant respiratory obstruction caused by tobacco smoke. The degree of respiratory obstruction in smokers increases in direct proportion to the length of time they smoke. Against the background of smoking increases hypoxia, blood oxygenation and oxygen transport to tissues. In smokers, the rate of lipid peroxidation and the condition of antioxidant protection of the body depend on the length of time they smoke
