The transformations taking place in the modern society in many spheres of human life require deep knowledge of the mythological foundations of human thinking. Archaic verbal texts, as a storehouse of symbolic systems of national cultures, accumulate deep meanings, the potential of which again and again continues to actualize and function in the context of different historical and cultural eras. Therefore, in modern conditions of technogenic civilization, it becomes important to "read and interpret" the semantic potential of folklore texts. The article is devoted to the study of the initial stage of the cosmogenesis of the traditional beginnings of the Yakut and Shor epics, the fragmentary messages of which together complement the gaps and outline the general picture of the cosmogonic process. The subject of the research is the primary elements of the emerging world of the era of primitive creation, which preceding the appearance of static prototypes, are woven into the very basis of archaic texts. The aim of the study is to reconstruct the chronological sequence of the phases of the creation of the primary elements of the initial stage of cosmogenesis in the beginnings of ancient epics. The novelty of the research lies in the explication of the cosmogonic process reflected in the mythopoetic views of the Yakuts and Shors, which has not yet been the subject of special study. The study involved the structural-typological method and semantic analysis. The author revealed that in the traditional beginnings of epics, a cosmogonic order of "mutual generation" of primary elements is found, in which the procedural nature of cosmogonic activity, which is essentially a diachronic series, is again and again actualized in the synchronic plane with the further development of epic events. The resulting cyclical model of the mythological chronotope, manifested by the author as a basic semantic invariant, in the future stimulates new scientific research in understanding the cosmogonic representations of the texts of the Turkic-Mongolian epics in natural science discourse. This approach, according to the author, can lead to a unified synergetic metalanguage based on a fundamental property of human consciousness
