The 20.11.03 super-storm is described on the basis of the quantitative estimations of input and output parameters of the magnetospheric disturbance energetics. Two input parameters are ε'- Poynting flux from solar wind into the magnetosphere, and the polar cap potential drop Upc. The output parameters (indicators the magnetospheric responses) are the total power of the magnetospheric disturbance (Qt), and the powers consumed in the ionosphere (Qi) and in the ring current (Qdr). Different modes of the magnetosphere disturbances are shortly described: substorms, driven mode, Null Events by Lyons et. al., saturation of the ionosphere, and responses to a strong s. w. pressure pulses. The problem of the substorms-storm relationship is also addressed.

The Batagay megaslump, in the Yana Uplands of northern Yakutia, Russia, is the largest known retrogressive thaw slump in the world. The slump exposes a remarkablesequence of Ice Age permafrost deposits that record the interaction of colluvial,eolian and periglacial processes on a hillslope episodically forested during the last 650 ka or more in response to climate variability on glacial–interglacial timescales. Numerous bones, teeth, and occasional carcasses of Pleistocene and Holocene mammals have been recovered from the permafrost. The megaslump developed over the course of several decades in three stages: (1) gullying, (2) thaw slumping, and(3) megaslumping. After disturbance to the taiga vegetation cover in the 1940s–1960s, a hillslope gully formed by the early 1960s. The gully initiated thaw slumping along its central part during the 1980s, with the slump enlarging to megaslump (>20 ha) proportions during the 1990s. By 2019, the area of the slump had reached about 80 ha and its headwall above the slump floor was up to about 55 m high. The main geomorphic processes of slump growth are headwall ablation and thermal erosion, producing a distinctive terrain of icy badlands on the slump floor. Though much of the megaslump is rapidly growing at present, it will probably stabilize eventually as an irregular terrain characterized by sandy ridges and sand-filled elongate depressions formed by degradation of the badlands. Просадка обнажает значительную последовательность мерзлотных отложений ледникового периода, которые отражают взаимодействие коллювиальных, эоловых и перигляциальных процессов на склоне холма, эпизодически покрывавшемся лесом в течение последних 650 тыс. лет назад или более в ответ на изменчивость климата на ледниково-межледниковом временном интервале. Из вечной мерзлоты были извлечены многочисленные кости, зубы и отдельные туши плейстоценовых и голоценовых млекопитающих. Оползень развивался в течение нескольких десятилетий в три этапа: (1) образование оврага, (2) проседание почвы при таянии и (3) провал. После нарушения растительного покрова тайги в 1940-1960-х гг. к началу 1960-х годов образовался овраг на склоне холма. Овраг инициировал оползень вдоль его центральной части в 1980-х годах, а затем оползень увеличился до огромного провала (>20 га) в 1990-х годах. К 2019 году площадь оползня достигла около 80 га, а высота его бровки над дном оползня - около 55 м. Основными геоморфологическими процессами роста оползня являются абляция стенки и термическая эрозия, в результате чего на дне оползня образуется характерный рельеф ледяных бэдлендов. Хотя в настоящее время большая часть провала быстро растет, со временем он, вероятно, стабилизируется как неравномерный рельеф, характеризующийся песчаными хребтами и заполненными песком удлиненными впадинами, образовавшимися в результате деградации бэдлендов. The article attempts to study the images of inverted space in the prose of Platon Oyunsky. Special attention is paid to the initial images of the artistic chronotope, forming a scheme of inversion: this is the underwater and lower worlds, the urban space in the writer's stories. The author of the article also highlights the image of the border, which forms a specific character of the Yakut world, also asserting the exceptional image of the initiating hero. The scholarly paradigm of this study also includes the issue of the body (clothing) as the main component of the image of the “I” of an urban person, defining the boundaries of his/her social sphere. В статье предпринимается попытка исследования образов перевернутого пространства в прозе П. А. Ойунского. Особое внимание уделяется инициальным образам художественного хронотопа, образующим схему перевернутости - это подводный и нижний миры, пространство города в рассказах писателя. Автор статьи выделяет также особым вниманием образ границы, формирующей специфический характер якутского мира, также утверждающей исключительный образ инициирующего героя. В научную парадигму данного исследования включается и проблема тела (одежды) как основного составляющего образа “Я” городского человека, определяющего границы его социальной сферы.
