The paper considers compatibility of formation water of the Irelyakh gas and oil field of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) with the highly mineralized solution used as an agent of reservoir pressure maintenance (RPM) with an allowance for factors, which influence solubility of salts, salt effect in particular. Also, possibility of concurrent reactions and specific conditions characteristic of the fields of the southwest Yakutia (by the example of the Irelyakh GOF) have been taken into account. It is shown that with the increase of the time length of wells’ flooding with the liquid for RPM the pore space structure undergoes changes due to its calcination and sulphatization, which causes deterioration of reservoir properties and subsequently can complicate the operation of producing wells and the field in the whole.

The Tangrian traditions are well preserved in Yakutia (Sakha Republic), we find their traces in Kazakhstan and in Central Asia, in South Siberia, in Turkey and in Mongolia.
Тангрийские традиции хорошо сохранились в Якутии (Республика Саха), мы находим их следы в Казахстане и Средней Азии, в Южной Сибири, в Турции и в Монголии.

Examination of auroral absorption (AA) occurrence rate and AA meridional distribution versus local time and in the course of the solar cycle has been performed by riometer observations from 1985 to 1995 at the longitude of Yakutsk. Geomagnetic latitude of the region of absorption maximum occurrence changes in the course of the solar cycle from 66.5° to 64.4°. The largest displacement of this region to lower latitudes is observed during years of maximum solar activity. The half-width of the region is ~8° at solar minimum and ~10° at solar maximum. It has been also revealed that the region of AA is shifted to higher latitudes at daytime (1000-1400LT), and to lower ones in the evening (1800-2000LT), the displacement from the daily average position being ~1° and ~3° in the years of solar activity maximum and minimum, respectively. In all years at 2000-2100LT a short-term extension of the AA region by 1-4° is observed. The interpretation of the observationa is proposed.

This article discusses criteria for comparing the effectiveness of energy resources. It focuses on the interrelationship between the effectiveness of energy resources and movement from one technological stage to another. What emerges is the consistent pattern of change in existing technologies, and increasingly evident is that, at their current stage of development, neither nano- nor biotechnology will lead to an evolution from the current and fifth technological stage to a sixth. Of note is that at present oil remains the key energy resource, which means that in the near future peak oil will force us to confront an unprecedented event in industrial history: energy degradation, which can be viewed as a regressive movement in the existing technological stage.

The NE Siberia is known as a region with supreme finds of mammoth fauna and the Ice Age occupation sites preserved in permafrost. The frozen grounds contribute to preservation of the most unique paleontological, palaeobotanical and organic archaeological material exposed from the primary cryolithic geological layers of the late Pleistocene riverine valleys. Investigations carried out in the upper and middle reaches of the Kolyma River basin of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in 2013–2018 brought new evidence on the natural habitats of the Paleolithic peopling of this region with the earliest findings 14C-dated >44 000 years ago. The field data allow the reconstruction of sequenced environmental conditions for the last tens of thousand of years and the modeling of human biological and cultural adaptation to the mid-Last Glacial and the extreme Last Glacial ecosystems within modern forest-tundra.
